Smart praises the two-way hero after 25-point show
With LeBron, Luka, and Reaves sidelined, Nick Smith Jr. burst off the Lakers bench for 25 points, six assists, shooting 10-for-15 in a win over Portland. Marcus Smart praised his effort, saying he deserved his flowers.
Smith did it while feeling sick—apparently even germs couldn’t guard him.
