Austin shines while Lakers search for rhythm
Austin Reaves dropped 20 points in 21 minutes as the Los Angeles Lakers opened preseason against the Phoenix Suns, missing both LeBron James and Luka Doncic. Reaves said the team needs sharper focus and harder competition moving forward.
He also joked it felt great being called “quick” twice—a stat rarer than a perfect preseason game.
