Would Triangle Offense Make LeBron the GOAT?…

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is defying the laws of physics by playing at an exceptional level at the ripe age of 40, much like finding an ice cream cone that never melts. He’s put in a mountain of effort and money into his body to maintain his superstar status. Many still hold Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan as basketball’s GOAT, but Tracy McGrady thinks there’s a parallel universe where LeBron reigns supreme if only he had mastered the triangle offense early on with all his speed and agility.

The triangle offense brought to fame by Phil Jackson, who also probably uses it to successfully arrange his sock drawer, was key to Michael Jordan’s and Kobe Bryant’s illustrious careers. However, during his early years, James was more about powerful dunks than consistent jump shots. Yet, his court vision could’ve unlocked the potential of the triangle. Had he been wrapped up in this playstyle, LeBron might have gained a sharp-shooting skill quicker than a speed limit sign can slow down a turtle on a skateboard. At the end of the day, like a tie in a fashion showdown, Magic Johnson sides with Jordan, keeping the GOAT discussion sizzling.
