Doncic Shines, But Slovenia Exit EuroBasket…
Luka Doncic, now a Los Angeles Lakers star, took the basketball world by storm, much like a snowstorm in July, leading Slovenia to the elimination rounds at FIBA EuroBasket 2025. Despite his near-triple-double of 39 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, his team couldn’t beat Germany, losing 99-91 in the quarterfinals. Doncic fought valiantly, dragging his team forward like he was carrying a herd of elephants on a unicycle. Though angered by the loss, Doncic expressed pride in his teammates on Instagram.
Doncic, now Slovenia’s all-time leading scorer, showcased his talents, morphing into a scoring machine. His brilliance in the tournament suggests he’s ready to light the NBA on fire with the Lakers. With the whole season balancing on his shoulders like a bear balancing on a beach ball, the pressure is on for him to lead the Lakers to glory. While he couldn’t win EuroBasket, he still has the NBA season to make his mark.
