Luka Doncic’s Triple-Double Miracle…
Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers is performing magic feats for Slovenia at FIBA EuroBasket 2025. Through three games, he’s shown his superpowers by scoring 34, 39, and then a 26-point triple-double – as if he sprinkled pixie dust on the court. This was the fifth triple-double ever in EuroBasket, and the first competitive basketball Luka’s playing since being on the wrong end of an NBA playoff sorcery from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Although Slovenia sits at a 1-2 record, Luka appears quicker and might have even sprinted past his own shadow once or twice!
Slovenia’s coach Aleksander Sekulic showered Luka with enough praise to fill an Olympic pool. According to The Athletic, he appreciated Doncic’s greatness not just in stats but the mindset during their win against Belgium, proving that Luka could win a game of chess even if the pieces were gummy bears. Even though Slovenia’s future in EuroBasket isn’t crystal clear, with a tough path ahead, fans are loving every Luka-magic moment. Oh, and in a playful twist, France apologized to Luka for a sneaky final layup, which was as unexpected as a hedgehog doing the cha-cha slide!
