Will LeBron and MJ Have a Bro-mance After Retirement?…

Picture this: two titans of basketball, LeBron James and Michael Jordan, doing something as wild as, well, having a conversation! The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron is already plotting how he’ll become BFFs with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan once he’s no longer sprinting up and down the court. Right now, their relationship status is “We don’t talk,” which LeBron attributes to the fact that he’s still out there hooping and Jordan is… well, busy not getting hit by basketballs on a daily basis.

LeBron spilled the beans on The Pat McAfee Show, highlighting the possibility of a post-retirement bond: “MJ doesn’t chat with mere mortals, especially those who still wear the number 23 and dare to be mentioned alongside his greatness. But hey, once I’m sipping lemonade on the porch, maybe then he’ll take my call!” Their paths did cross once at the NBA’s 75 Greatest Players shindig, and LeBron found it utterly “dope,” with the legendary Jordan heavily inspiring his journey from a kid in Akron, Ohio, to basketball royalty.

Drawing parallels, LeBron recalls how, despite a fiercely competitive start, his relationship with Kobe Bryant blossomed once Kobe hung up his jersey. They ended up calling each other ‘family’. So, here’s hoping that once LeBron joins the retired legends club, he too will share laughs, stories, and maybe even cigars with MJ.
