No Practice? No Problem, Says Lakers Coach!…
The Los Angeles Lakers have been cruising with only one flat tire—injuries! LeBron’s groin and Rui’s knee have taken a timeout, leaving the team searching for band-aids at the forward position. Coach JJ Redick has confirmed that while both are in “day-to-day” mode, full practices before their comeback? That’s as likely as a unicorn on a unicycle!
With the Lakers playing every other day, there’s no room for those deep-diving practices and flirtations with live ball contact. Redick didn’t sugarcoat it: “I think there’s a practice in April!” Crap, looks like LeBron and Rui will have to rely on magical walkthroughs and cozy non-contact drills. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves hold the fort, waiting impatiently for the return of Captain LeBron and Co-Captain Rui.
Despite the lack of practice, LeBron seems to be coping well by cheering on his son Bryce to a state title win. While his return to the court is still unscheduled, James continues to make an impact, even if it’s from the bleachers. Lakers fans, don’t worry: the King and the Samurai will be back—eventually!
