Luka’s Ankle Drama & Jaxson’s Knee Woes…
The Lakers’ latest injury report is more dramatic than a soap opera. Luka Doncic is playing the questionable card thanks to a right ankle that’s as moody as a cat. Meanwhile, Jaxson Hayes is out, nursing a knee contusion that just won’t let him play against the Bucks. While Dorian Finney-Smith has danced his way back to the court after a left ankle scare, LeBron and his trusty companions Rui and Kleber remain on the sidelines, forming a not-so-merry band of injured fellows.
As the Lakers prepare for a one-two punch against the Bucks and Nuggets, they cling to optimism like a kid holding onto his ice cream cone. The last game against the Nets ended with a bumpy ride — two stars, Luka and Austin, just couldn’t find their rhythm. If the Lakers want any hope of paddling through this challenging road trip, they’ll need those guys to lead the offensive parade.
Meanwhile, the Bucks are ready to spice things up as their ex-coach Darvin Ham returns. Although they’ll be sans Bobby Portis, they’ve got their game faces on. And here’s a twist — Jayson Tatum thinks we need more LeBron talks, because, duh, the man’s almost 40 and still playing like he’s on a first date!
