The Los Angeles Lakers are entering the Brooklyn jungle, minus their king, LeBron James, who’s sidelined with a groin hiccup. Along for the injured fun ride are Dorian Finney-Smith and Jaxson Hayes, dealing with sore ankles and moody knees, respectively. Rui Hachimura isn’t joining the party either, thanks to his rebellious left knee. In their quest to outsmart the Brooklyn Nets, it’s time for the rest of the team to channel their inner superheroes.
Luka Doncic, wearing his cape tonight, and Austin Reaves are tasked with filling the scoring volume. Perhaps it’s time for the rest of the squad to don their mystery capes and save the day—or at least not trip over them.
