Despite the award-worthy performance—and juggling a double shift—the Lakers barely missed the mark, losing 131-126 and collecting their fourth L in a row.
After the game, Reaves might not have sported a gold medal, but he did flash some satisfaction sneakers. “Sure, we lost, but hey, we showed those Nuggets we can tango,” said Reaves, describing himself missing a shot that would have given them a late lead. A Jamal Murray three-pointer was the dagger that sealed the deal as the Nuggets slipped away with the win, all while Reaves praised teammates for looking decent even when luck decided to sit this one out.
