Cam Reddish Joins BC Šiauliai Adventure…

Last year, Cam Reddish’s season with the Los Angeles Lakers was as up and down as a kangaroo on a pogo stick. He started off benched like an old coffee cup, then bounced his way onto the court as a starting defender. Despite this, his court time diminished, and he nearly went to the Charlotte Hornets before that trade was canceled. Finally, the Lakers swapped him out for Jordan Goodwin like trading a rare comic book for a shiny new penny. Now, with no NBA team interested just yet, Reddish is taking his three-pointers and dunk moves to Lithuania with BC Šiauliai.

According to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews, Reddish, drafted 10th overall in 2019, will sign a contract with an exit clause, paving a way back to the NBA in case he decides that dribbling past US defenders was more fun. The 26-year-old has shown flashes of talent and still has plenty of basketball left in him. Some overseas success might just draw NBA teams back faster than a moth to a flame. Meanwhile, the Lakers are eyeing Andrew Wiggins for a potential trade, hoping he’s the secret ingredient missing from their championship stew.
