Former Sun admits Phoenix ‘wanted it more’
Deandre Ayton faced his old team but the Phoenix Suns handed the Lakers a 125-108 defeat. Ayton, nursing a sore knee, tallied 12 points and nine rebounds while praising Phoenix’s hunger and Dillon Brooks’ hot hand.
Ayton said the Suns simply played harder — kind of like someone remembered the Wi‑Fi password while L.A. was still buffering.
