Pelinka Praises Adou Thiero’s Potential…
On the second day of the 2025 NBA Draft, Lakers’ front office magician, Rob Pelinka, magically moved the team up the draft board faster than a cheetah on a skateboard, selecting Arkansas forward Adou Thiero with the 36th pick. The Lakers are keen on getting more athletic, and Thiero fits the bill like a glove a size too small. At 6’8” and weighing 220 pounds, he looks like he could casually bench press two Kevin Harts. His shooting needs seasoning like a bland chicken, but the potential to become a two-way player is undeniably there.
Pelinka compared Thiero to New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby, saying “OG has done so much in the league.” Thiero, like Anunoby, brings the Swiss Army knife skills minus the pocket lint.
